Kid's Ministry

Mission

We strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children of First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

Children are an integral part of the future church and laying the foundation upon which they stand is a great task. With gifted volunteers, our Sunday School Ministry is a crucial building block of growing the church and leading our children to a Jesus-centered lifestyle. Jesus said, "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me." Receiving a child into your arms in the name of Jesus is a way to receive Jesus, and receiving Jesus is a way to receive God.

Awana

AWANA is a mid-week ministry for children from Preschool – 8th grade, dedicated to the growth and development of kids in their walk with Christ, as well as an avenue that encourages kids to learn/memorize Scripture and share their faith with others. In a strategic partnership between home and church we work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ.
